The Statement

The Vision behind the Madness

My belief is that everything is art, it just depends on who's beholding it. Thats the beauty of it; art can be something different for everyone.

IT IS WHATEVER MAKES YOU FEEL
SOMETHING... ANYTHING.

And what I want you to feel, is seen. Because you are. How often is it that we look at the world but do not open ourselves fully to experience what is in front of us? I dont mean that in a "This generation is a bunch of SCREENAGERS" way, but in a way that are we truly in touch with ourselves? Can we look in the mirror and say that we truly know the person looking back? Typically not. Even for myself.

BUT THAT IS WHY I CREATE.
SO I CAN TRULY SEE.
AND BE SEEN.

My art as a whole is intended to reflect the most beautifully human aspects of our identities, which are simultaneously the most viceral and grotesque. We spend our lives hiding from them, but I would rather embrace the unappealing. Love the unloved. Is there not a sense of purity in finding one's self in primal virtue?

There was this awesome postcard I saw in the artists-market portion of PS1 in New York (if you are around, definitely check it out, its super cool) that has an illustration of a dog on its heing legs and written below it is written;

'I DO NOT DANCE TO ENTERTAIN YOU,
I DANCE FOR THE JOY OF DANCING'.

I have it hanging on my wall right beside my bed to remind myself every morning when I wake up why exactly I create.

MY FIRST FILM FESTIVAL!

I participated in the 2026 TRIFEST celebration, which is a festival specifically geared towards young filmmakers from around the world ages 25 and below.There was a screening for all local submissions at a indie theater close by that I had the privilege to attend and afterwards had the oppertunity to speak about my film, 'BLUELIGHTS WAKE', in front of a live audience! While I didnt win the official selection, I did receive honors for Second Best Local submission!

RISD PRE-COLLEGE FILM PROGRAM!

I am so grateful to be able to say I had the chance to attend RISD's precollege residential program; it was such a wonderful experience! Being a film major, we had a final screening at the end of the residence and my film, 'Ode to my Rabbit Heart', was shown. It was so heartwarming to see how well it was received by friends, professors, and strangers alike!
